Retratos da Angústia

🇧🇷 Comecei a criar esta arte digital sem pretensão, a partir da imagem da moça e do fundo escolhido. Fui jogando uma imagem aqui e outra ali, e, quando percebi, havia construído um reflexo de oposição: de um lado, a janela, enviando luz para o ambiente; do outro, a jovem triste, encolhida.

Foi então que notei o contraste e pensei em chamá-la "Retratos da Angústia", pois ela apresenta uma sala vazia, com a luz suave de uma janela de um lado e, do outro, uma parede mofada, onde sombras parecem tentar capturar a mulher. No centro, um quadro luxuoso contrasta com a cena, trazendo uma pintura oriental de onde emerge um dragão dourado — símbolo de esperança e luz — que, quem sabe, venha lutar contra a mão sombria que tenta alcançar a jovem.

Criei esta arte no dia 18/07, utilizando uma foto do DeviantArt ([mjranum-stock]) e montagens com imagens da internet.

🇺🇸 I started creating this digital artwork without much intention, beginning with the image of the woman and the chosen background. I dropped in one image here, another there, and suddenly realized I had built a visual contrast: on one side, a window casting light into the room; on the other, a sad, curled-up young woman.

That’s when I saw the emotional depth and thought of calling it “Portraits of Anguish”, as it depicts an empty room, with gentle light from a window on one side and, on the other, a moldy wall where shadows seem to reach out to capture the woman. In the center, a luxurious painting stands out from the scene, displaying an oriental artwork where a golden dragon — a symbol of hope and light — emerges, perhaps to fight the shadowy hand trying to grasp the young woman.

I created this artwork on July 18th, using a photo from DeviantArt ([mjranum-stock]) and collage elements from images found online.
